In Memoriam of "Mommy"
It was on November 26, 2021 that God called Rev. Lyn Birago Prempeh to glory. While this is a tremendous loss for our family, school, and community, we know that the strong vision that Rev. Lyn started will carry on for years to come. Through her faith, intelligence, and sheer tenacity Rev. Lyn Birago Prempeh to begin MELC as a PK and KG school in 2008 as its only teacher. She even used her own funds and residence at the time to house the school. Through here diligence, care for children, and ability to build relationships, she grew MELC from 25 students to now over 500. Our students are future leaders who continue to pass Ghana practicums and examinations every single term. "Mommy" loved every student at Mariah Estee, whom she fondly called her children. She took pride in their impeccable physical appearance and academic prowess. This is the reason that in her final months she formulated the plans for our new JHS. This was her final gift to her children.
Rev. Lyn continued to craft the rigorous curriculum and her attention to detail lifted MELC to the heights at which it has continued to achieve even in her recent physical absence. Prior to her passing Rev. Lyn ensured that her blueprint for successful school management was passed to her children, and with their degrees in business, technology, human resources, and PK-12 Education, they are more than qualified to keep her legacy going for years to come.
"Mariah Estee......No Challenger!" "Mariah Estee......No Challenger!" "Mariah Estee......No Challenger!"
Mariah Estee will continue to set the bar higher and "nurture future leaders; one child at a time."
